Movie Monday: ‘Red One’ Flies to Victory

It’s not even Thanksgiving yet. But at the local multiplex, it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas—albeit a Christmas with a bit of coal. Red One, wherein Santa Claus himself is kidnapped, went to the top of the box office, unwrapping $34 million worth of North American Christmas cheer. It collected another $50 million overseas, pushing its global total to $84.1 million. That sounds like a lot of money to find under the cinematic Christmas tree. Still, most experts would say that’s a
