# Suyongro Church Confirms New Pastor

Suyongro Church has officially appointed a new pastor. On October 25, the church held a congregational meeting and voted on the appointment of Pastor Lee Hyun-woo as the third senior pastor. A total of 5,287 baptized members participated in the vote, with 5,001 members (94.5%) in favor of the appointment.

The church's search committee, consisting of 10 members including elders and representatives from various age groups, conducted a thorough review of domestic and international candidates. The committee evaluated candidates based on their preaching, theological background, character, and ministry experience, ultimately recommending multiple candidates to the church board in April. After a review process, Pastor Lee was selected as the final candidate in June.
