# Sister García: the presence of the Pope will give a new impetus to the Church in Peru

Sister María Antonieta García Carrizales, superior-general of the Franciscan Sisters of the Immaculate Conception, stated that the upcoming visit of Pope Leo XIV to Peru is highly significant for the nation. She expressed that this visit is expected to provide new paths and impulses to revive the awareness of Christ's presence in their lives through unity, fraternity, and service.
