# Seven out of ten Argentinians have a positive image of the Pope, survey reveals

A recent survey conducted by the firm Zuban Córdoba indicates that 68.5 percent of respondents have a "good" image of the Pope, while 7.2 percent reported a "bad" image. Additionally, 9.7 percent said they do not know León XIV, and 14.6 percent were unsure how to respond. The positive image rises to 71.6 percent among men, compared to 65.9 percent among women.

The survey further shows that the leader of the Catholic Church holds a better positive image among those over sixty, with 74 percent expressing a good opinion of the Pope. This is followed by the age group of 31 to 45 years, where the positive image is at 69.2 percent. Among young people aged 16 to 30, León XIV has a positive image of 59.6 percent, alongside a negative image of 16.4 percent.

The survey was conducted between September 16 and 19, involving 2,000 individuals from across the country, with a confidence level of 95 percent, according to the polling firm. The Holy See confirmed on Tuesday that the Pope is scheduled to arrive in Argentina on November 8, coming from Uruguay, and will remain in the country until November 11, when he will depart for Peru. The Holy Father has a busy agenda, including a mass and a vigil with youth in Buenos Aires, a visit to Córdoba, and a concluding Eucharistic celebration at the Basilica of Our Lady of Luján, the patroness of Argentina.
