# Red Fratelli hands Pope Leo XIV conclusions of youth political forum

Red Fratelli delivered a document titled "Raising the gaze: A young politics from dignity and faith" to Pope Leo XIV during his visit to Spain. The document contains the conclusions of a youth political forum organized in the capital. The initiative was promoted by Jóvenes Madrid. The delivery took place on June 7 at the Movistar Arena during an event called Weaving networks. The forum brought together young Catholics linked to major political groups in Spain. Representatives from the Christian Workers' Youth and the Neos Foundation also participated. The event was inspired by the encyclical Fratelli Tutti and the methodology of conversation in the Spirit. The goal was to create a space for listening, encounter, and shared search for the common good. The forum aimed to open spaces for sincere dialogue in a context marked by polarization and distance.

It sought to recognize the value of the other and advance together from fraternity and social friendship. At the end of the encounter, the pastoral vicar of the Archdiocese of Madrid, José Luis Segovia, spoke with the young people before blessing them. The document gathers 10 points arising from the dialogue on young politics. These points reflect issues considered important to place at the center of Spanish society based on life experiences. The text concludes that the mission of youth is to step forward, being an example and light where others see darkness. It emphasizes creating real bonds and showing the hope of faith. The document states that walking together can build the best politics, the most human one, which always seeks the common good. During the encounter, the Pope was deeply moved by the initiative. He encouraged the young people to continue the mission of building bridges.

The Pontiff recalled that dialogue is the art of weaving networks through encounter, listening, and respect. He invited the young people to take care of language, noting that communication is never neutral. He called on them to be new threads to weave new networks that harmonize all areas of life. Red Fratelli continues its path with a renewed spirit in its mission to build bridges between young people committed to public life and politics, placing Christ at the center of everything. The start of term assembly will be held on Friday, September 18, at 18:00 hours, at the Deleju headquarters in the plaza of San Juan de la Cruz. The meeting aims to be an opportunity to get to know Red Fratelli, share concerns, and propose new projects and initiatives for this term.
