Pope Leo XIV left the Gemelli Clinic on Saturday afternoon, according to doctors overseeing his treatment. The Vatican press office confirmed that before departing the clinic at noon, the Pope celebrated Mass in a specially prepared room on the tenth floor. Following his return to the Vatican on Sunday, 18 October, the Pope will lead the Angelus prayer from his apartment window. The Holy Father had been hospitalized for several days at the university clinic.
