# Is the freed reformed novel still not written? Sollie's dog comes close

A phrase resonated with me like the taste of rye bread with split pea soup: ‘The freed reformed novel is still not written.’ We had engaged in conversation while waiting in line at the front of the church to congratulate new members on their confession and baptism.

We discussed past life in the Reformed Churches freed, a sharply defined landscape with fiery peaks and dystopian valleys. If there were a church quartet game, the theme ‘freed’ would feature words like covenant, antithesis, ongoing reformation, and true church.

My conversation partner had experienced version 2.0 among emigrants in Canada. He commented that he missed a good novel about it, specifically regarding the tumultuous period from 1944 to 1990.

Thanksgiving services for life are beautiful, but do not exaggerate by praising someone to the heavens.
