Gwangju Denomination Association Holds Evangelism Convention

The Gwangju Christian Denomination Association hosted the 2026 Gwangju Evangelism Convention on October 11 at Gwangju Mustard Seed Church. The event focused on the theme 'Service, Coexistence, Beautiful Companionship' and was attended by over 3,000 pastors and church members from the Gwangju region, who united in their wish for the evangelization of Gwangju and committed to being workers of the gospel.

In his opening address, President Na Jong-gap expressed hope that the convention would unify the churches in Gwangju, restore families, and reignite the flame of the gospel. He encouraged all churches in Gwangju to pray, serve, and walk together on the path of the gospel.

The gathering began with worship led by the Gwangju Denomination Choir and performances from the Haewon Ensemble of Gwangshin University. Following that, various church leaders participated in the program, which included prayers and a sermon titled 'Remodeling Life' delivered by Pastor Jang Chang-soo, who emphasized the importance of adopting a positive attitude and trusting in God.

Pastor Jang also stated that personal life remodeling can lead to renewal in families, churches, and even the nation. The convention concluded with special prayers for the development and economic recovery of Gwangju, as well as for the nation and its people, accompanied by songs of praise from choirs.
