# Children in Poland Join Papal Rosary Prayer Initiative

Children in families, schools, and parishes in Poland are participating in a rosary prayer initiative following an invitation from the Pope.

Aid to the Church in Need organizes the event, which runs from October 1 to October 7. The organization encourages parents, teachers, catechists, and pastors to register participating groups. To support the effort, the organizer provided formation materials, including letters, leaflets, and posters.

Organizers state the initiative focuses on education for peace and references the Fatima message. The National Sanctuary of Saint Joseph in Kalisz serves as the primary location for this year's activities in Poland. A symbolic wandering rosary, which previously visited Kasprowy Wierch in 2024 and Sopot the following year, will travel to Kalisz to represent a path of prayer across the country.

This 21st edition of the initiative began on October 1 at the Vatican. More than 700 children prayed with Leon XIV at the Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes. The Pope mentioned that one million children are praying, resulting in 50 million Hail Marys in various languages. He stated that prayers for peace should be accompanied by concrete gestures of reconciliation and goodness.
