# Cei discusses reform of statutes

A Church that returns to reflect on itself is the central theme of the final statement from the Permanent Episcopal Council, gathered in Rome from September 21 to 23 under the leadership of Cardinal Matteo Zuppi, president of the Cei. The starting point is the invitation from Pope Leone XIV directed to the bishops.
