Judge Forces Montana Residents to Fund Abortions

On Tuesday, the always agreeable Judge Mike Menahan granted summary judgment to organizations representing abortion providers against three pro-life Montana laws which Menahan ruled violate the state’s constitution.“A woman’s right to choose to protect her health by terminating her pregnancy prior to fetal viability outweighs the State’s interest in protecting a potential life at the expense of her health,” Menahan wrote.“The challenged laws are HB 544, HB 862, and a Montana Department of Public
