Vocational training for Haitian women amid crushing gang violence

Haiti (MNN) — Gang violence in Haiti continues at a steady burn. Just last week, a gang attacked a community near Port-au-Prince, killing at least 70 people.  Meanwhile, the neighboring Dominican Republic says it will deport up to 10,000 illegal migrants per week. Many of them will be Haitians. In the past week, 4,900 Haitians have already been sent back to their volatile homeland, where the United Nations says at least 3,661 people were killed during the first half of 2024. (Photo courtes
