Planned Parenthood Will Close Iowa Abortion Biz

Planned Parenthood’s abortion business in Iowa will shrink to a single abortion center after it closes its Iowa City location at the end of July.The organization announced the shutdown of the Iowa City abortion facility effective July 31, 2026, as part of a restructuring prompted by federal funding cuts and Iowa’s 2024 law banning most abortions after six weeks of pregnancy.Four other Planned Parenthood clinics in the state closed last year in Ames, Cedar Rapids, Sioux City and Urbandale. After
