Daily Devotional: February 29 – Herd Mentality

Against You, You only, have I sinned, and done this evil in Your sight – Psalm 51:4Just because everyone goes along with something doesn’t mean it is right. Today’s bible verse is part of longer prayer of repentance from King David who had committed  adultery with Bathsheba. By saying that He had sinned only against God, He clues us into the fact that He had not forced Bathsheba into adultery but that she willingly went along with it. Indeed, if he had forced her, he would also have sinned again
