Curfew enforced as Nepal protesters and military start talks

Nepal (MNN) — Nepal’s Gen Z protests on Monday and Tuesday left many government buildings in the capital in shambles. At least 22 people lost their lives in the protests, with two police officers killed and hundreds injured. Some Gen Z groups claim the demonstrations were meant to be nonviolent but that opportunists “hijacked” them.
